I'd just been given a serious health diagnosis, I was frightened, having panic attacks and didn't know what to do. Then Lilia came into my life after a chance meeting with a friend. Like a wee pixie or an angel she helped guide me through some of the darkest hours I've ever been through and to show me the possibility of what can be. Lilia's motto is to heal without fear, if we could all be given that message of hope instead of being told the worst possible scenario then left to pick up the pieces the world might be a better place. This has been an incredible journey for me and I have to say that the immersion retreat was one of the best weeks of my life! Lilia's enthusiasm and energy is incredible. She took me from a place of fear into a loving and healing space where I felt anything was a possibility. The retreat follows a programme of juicing, vegan food, and connecting with ourselves and being in nature. By following a daily ritual of qi gong, yoga, meditation and affirmations this all helped me to connect spiritually and find an inner sense of peace. I'd recommend doing one of her retreats because why not show some compassion for yourself for a change oh and did I mention you'll have a LOT of fun whilst doing it. Thank you for coming into my life Lilia xxx

A testimonial from a lovely man on our last Retreat who has 2 sons fighting for their health.
Dear Lilia
I close over my eyes and think of Malta several times a day. I breathe in its warmth (both physical and spiritual) and re-live moments in my head for their meditative quality. I thrive through what you have blessed me. Two winters ago I had my head meds quadrupled and I wasn't dealing with half of what I am now. If you haven't yet posted my testimonial then you must incorporate all that I have expressed recently into a super-douper, how-could-anyone-read-this-and-not-be-convinced version.

I hadn't been on a retreat before. However, I had met Lilia and listened to her speak on the passions that drive her. I booked a place on the Malta Immersion there and then.
In a nutshell, Lilia takes elements of ancient wisdom together with ground-breaking science and weaves them into tapestry of sensitive yet powerful therapy for the body and the soul.
The setting at Wardija was perfect; a tranquil spot on the hillside wit a magnificent view overlooking St Paul's Bay with spacious and comfortable accommodation. The balance of activity was just right; early morning yoga by the pool, spa-like treatments to release physical tension, education and practise on cutting-edge psychological techniques that can be continued once home again. All of this built upon a structure of feeding the body with pure, nourishing food with further education on how to best fulfil one's nutritional needs.
On a personal level, the retreat was a watershed and I can relate two intensely emotional achievements that Lilia's environment helped me attain.
Firstly, I found the strength and support to free myself from twenty years of antidepressant medication. As I write this testimonial three months later I remain completely drug free. I hadn't gone to the retreat with the intention of attempting to stop the meds. It was a spontaneous response to being there and I was amazed, totally and completely, at the inner strength I found to deal with the withdrawal symptoms, so much so that within a mere two days I knew I had won the battle. This astonished, and delighted, me.
Secondly, I was a non-swimmer due to a long-held fear of drowning, and was initially nervous at one particular water therapy on offer. Following a few days of emotional release therapies, however, I was floating free, flat on my back in the sea of one of Malta's beautiful bays, only my eyes and nose, mouth and toes above water. I even lay face-down on the water's surface, wearing a snorkel set and watched the fish.
These are two examples of what can be achieved with the help of Lilia's Malta Immersion Retreat.

I went to Malta in October this year for the first time to the very first Immersion Retreat. This is first retreat I’ve been to and wasn’t sure what to expect. I’ve known Lilia for many years and had been to some of her workshops over the years and had tried the Sedona method and EFT but if I’m honest I only used these techniques when things were going wrong in my life and I didn’t really believe in myself.
The location of the retreat was stunning and I felt more connected to nature and the universe just being there. The people on the retreat were just ordinary people like me, all of us with different backgrounds and stories and all looking to improve our lives so it was easy being together.
Doing techniques every day in the surroundings allowed me to let go of things I didn’t even know I was holding on to. I didn’t think I could meditate, never had the patience but turns out I can and I like it and since I came home I’ve read that it actually stimulates the mind and it’s not just for relaxation.
My big thing was my family relationships, particularly my mum. At age 44 I believed things couldn’t change, the damage was done and well I’d just need to get on with it as best I could but it didn’t sit well with me. I would often be upset after seeing my family and get wound up before seeing them. I felt sad about the way it was but it still didn’t change. At the retreat Lilia did some one to one work with everyone and I chose to work on my family relationships, I hadn’t pre planned this it’s just what came up that day. Once I started letting go of things I got really honest with myself and started working on the things I wanted to change about myself. In the retreat everything seemed possible and it was very easy to be clear about how I would love my life to be.
The day after the retreat finished my ex-boyfriend phoned me to make amends, I did not see that coming but it was very welcome. I came home and when I saw my parents I hugged my mum and didn’t feel squeamish which was a first in 30yrs.
Since being home I juice every day and I do a wee of bit yoga, I actually feel so much better the more I do. Lilia gave us all the tools and techniques we used in Malta and I do use them every day and again I just feel better for it. There has been the odd week I haven’t done much and I felt sluggish and not quite as good. My life is better in so many ways since I went on the retreat. I believe in myself and everything is possible. I have better relationships with everyone especially my family, my college course is going great and my business is taking off nicely. I guess the thing I learned most is I am in control of my life, I choose my life and how it will be, I and I alone create my life which means I really can do anything and be the person I truly want to be.
I would recommend anyone thinking about going on one of the Immersion retreats to just do it. It truly is the most eye opening thing I’ve done in my life and I’m so delighted and excited to be living my life. It’s my life and everything is possible.
Thanks Lilia xx xx

Lilia Sinclair’s Immersion Retreats in Malta will change you in a profound way because she lets you see what is possible in yourself, what you are capable of when you treat you body well, listen to yourself and learn how to let go of all the negative stuff that keeps you stuck. With a combination of nutrition, yoga, massage, alternative therapies and some good old-fashioned straight talk, she gets you to tune into to your body and mind and challenge yourself and the long-held reasons we all use to hold ourselves back. You will definitely lose weight, simply by eating well and cutting out meat, wheat and sweet (and alcohol of course), but that (for me anyway) is the least of it. Without any new-age gibberish, she talks supreme good sense and cuts to the stuff that really matters. Her releasing method, her process of "letting go", is so simple that at first you are suspicious. But if you learn to use it in your day to day, life changes for the better because you learn not to dwell on things that are a pointless waste of your time and just accept things as they are. That’s not to say you don’t try or get involved or take responsibility for your own life, but you simply don’t waste your time on things that don’t serve you and devote your energies to those things that do. This is a revelation and a very powerful tool for finding peace of mind. Lilia is a true healer who can help people change and improve their lives. She is pragmatic, wise, enthusiastic, real, wickedly funny and glows with good health. She’s lived it herself and she walks the line. Once you’ve met her you won’t forget her.
