So as someone who lives primarily on veggies, going from this.....
To this was a bit of a mind feck.....
It's not that I don't eat meat and fish occasionally and I am fairly obsessed by fats, I know and have known for years that they are critical to the health of the cell and therefore our emotional/spiritual and physical health.
But I was actually getting a feeling of nausea looking at that pic.
Is it feeling for the animals?
Is it the cost? Lol actually just realised that it is 10-20 times more expensive to eat Keto.
Is there an new underlying belief about only bad people survive eating animals?
Or is it my body saying no. This is not for me thanks.
Anyway this way to eat has been coming into my awareness for a while.
My diet had become more vegan based without me actually trying, I never had any real desire, it just happened. I love my veggies and I love my juice. I have a habit.
Now I am going to flip it 180 degrees.
Maybe that is where the resistance is.
I have tried every way to eat, I feel I have to so that I can 100% talk from experience.
Years ago I read the Atkins book and back then I was always interested in losing a few pounds but that was not what made me try it.
It was the chronic fatigue.
When I read the first few pages of his book it dawned on my immediately.
I was eating far to much carbohydrate.
Within a week I was like a new person, I could not believe it myself.
And as someone who always thought I have my finger on the pulse of "health" I was pretty embarrassed to suffering from an auto immune problem.
My health is fine now but I still get energy drops and my abdomen gets bloated.
My body creaks, and I ain't joking, like an old rusty thing that needs a lot of oil.
So starting on March 1 I went Keto.
So I thought why not try this, see what all the fuss is about.
fyi I absolutely do not want to follow this diet for more than 4 weeks, it is an experiment just to see if this body likes it.
Yesterday I was like a fart in a trance.
Then I remembered day 3 I was likely to go into ketosis. Bit of a headache, no big deal, but defo tired. I gave mycellf permission to watch a movie in the afternoon :)
Had a lot of physical dreams last night but woke up this morning at 6.45 feeling very good and alert. Hmmmmmm I had a sneaky feeling this would happen.
But normally when I am on full power I awake at 5.30 so I am not celebrating anything yet.
Keto also goes along with my blood group which is O.

My quest is to find my clients the eating regime that will allow their bodies to heal.
A "diet" that they feel is possible for them, rather than dropping into despair at the thought of the changes instead being inspired and excited at the prospect of returning to full power and health.
The latest research based on knowledge based on Cancer being a metabolism issue as opposed to a genetic issue explains how if we starve the body of sugar as in fasting or high protein or fats, then it will self heal.

I am not saying this is the only way to heal because it is not.
The research shows overwhelmingly that a plant based vegan diet is the main one people use.
But I wonder if that is because we copy what other successful people have done, so it would make sense that this would be what research suggests.
Are there other ways of eating, not so extreme for the carnivores that can also help people to heal?
What we have to do is pick a regime and stick to it.
Doing nothing will ensure you follow the "Clinical Path" of the disease.
You NEED to interfere.
Find a plan you believe you can follow and then stick to it.
There are many ways to do it, you need to find the one for your body/mind.
