SLIPPING BACK INTO BAD HABITS
Its funny when you move Country and create a different life for you and your cells.
Abundance of time allows me to have brilliant, satisfying, healing rituals for the body.
Rituals that make me feel alive. (Placebo or not, thats how it seems).
Then I come back to Scotland that goes out the window, well most of it.
Skin brushing, oil pulling, releasing can all still easily be done, and the food thing is fine as long as I eat where I am staying and don't rely on buying something on the go.
Yesterday for example I was coming back from Glasgow, we stopped at Inverary and Nicky asked for a roll and sausage. I thought, when I smell that I will want one, so I got it, and after one bite thought it actually tasted disgusting. I still ate a few more bites mind you (mindlessly) and then put it down. Why did I even buy it in the first place?
I know nothing of what is in that meat, but worse than that for my body, was the white roll. (Gluten)
Then last night I had 2 crackers.(more gluten) Whats the big deal about that you are probably thinking, well my belly is bloated for the first time in well over a month, and that's the first gluten I have had since then.
So its clear.
Gluten and me are not friends.
I already knew this as gluten is no ones friend, but the message went a bit deeper!
White flour and water make wallpaper paste. Gluten is literally glue and the digestive system can get destroyed by it over time.
White flour is made by taking the only good thing out, the fibre, then it is bleached.
It is a seriously stupid process that does enormous harm to the body over the decades, exactly like smoking.
My body is much more sensitive to stuff now. I used to get away with murder, but not now. Is it my age? Is it post menopause? Is it damage from years of abuse? Is it because we are in an era of massive shift in consciousness? Is it a combination of all of that? Am I trying to figure it all out and making it worse?
It is what it is, I need to let go on all of the above.
People always ask me if I am a vegetarian or vegan and I say no.
I am cynical about labels and see very unhealthy, unbalanced and unhappy non carnivores.
We need to be careful we are not using the label to make ourselves feel special and separate, better than others or to impress others. (This causes cellular contraction that can harm the body)
I am 100% against mass farming and cruelty to animals and my diet is primarily vegan but I still enjoy meat occasionally. I make the choices I believe are best for my body and the enviroment 95% of the time.
I see a lot of refined sugar and gluten addictions and they can be far more harmful to the body than organic, humanely farmed meat and poultry.
Fats are also essential for the body/mind balance and again many veggies and vegans do not eat enough and this can leave them struggling emotionally.
Whatever your "label" you still need balance.
We all have our addictions, some are more obvious and or acceptable than others, but to quote Caroline Myss "there is nothing worse than a vengeful vegetarian"
Her point being if you do not love your neighbours, then hanging up wind chimes and eating carrots does not cut the mustard.
We all need to look at ourselves and see what needs to change, what action we need to take and what habits, limitation and negativity we need to release.
Change. Boy how we resist it and how we need it.
EFT, Sedona, Affirmations, The Emotion codes and all the other releasing modalities are critically helpful tools for releasing the bad habits and making change effortless.
We all know that if we are told, even if its by ourselves to not do something, we want to do it more.
Change is a process that can be hugely stressful and can cause tremendous resistance in our cells therefore creating suffering and more of the same.
Understanding that we are doing something unhelpful, harmful to the body is the first step, even if we keep on doing it.
BE HONEST. The only person we ever really lie to is ourcells. And they know the truth anyway.
Then creating an affirmation about how we would LOVE IT TO BE.
I allow mycellf to enjoy this incredible, powerful process of healing and returning to full vitality and high energy.
Then using the release techniques to drop judgement, resistance, frustration and doubt about the process.
TRUST AND SURRENDER.
Know that your goal is coming towards you, be patient in the process and allow it to unfold.
Whether you want a car, a helicopter, more money, more love, more health it makes no difference in the Universal field.
Its all just energy.
The process is identical.
The Intention is different.
First step is decide.
What do you want? Get clear and get on it.
Put the full power of your determination behind it.
Then know that it is in the post.
