Dr Joe Dispenza and snowboardingI discovered Dr Joes work in July. Healing by thought alone. He is teaching literally thousands of people to do this, with phenomenal success, I am quite gutted I have never payed attention to him before. The concept of spontaneous healings has always fascinated me. When I say fascinated it has now turned to an obsession. My friends joke saying I am going to morph into Joe Dispenza, you cannot talk to me for more than 120 seconds without me referring to his work in some way. Why? Because he researched spontaneous healings. He is duplicating real time healings EVERY single advanced workshop. So called miracle healings are happening except they are not miracles, he explains what happens and why from a scientific point of view, the only one that most Westerners will listen to. Demystifying the mystical He demystifies the mystical. Teaches you how to change the frequency of your brain, increase your vibration to change your electromagnetic field, and how this interacts with the Field. Quantum physics What is the Field? It is the energy that everything in the Universe is made up of. The Quantum Field is a soup of consciousness that we interact with. We are not solid, we are frequency like everything else in the Universe. This information changes our reality. Our percpective. Particles and waves that are affected by our thoughts, feelings, actions, perceptions and beliefs. We can change the waves to matter, material. We can use the mind to change the matter. We are powerful supernatural beings that can heal, and snowboard to any standard that you train your mind to. This surely must be the most important scientific discovery of our time. Others have known about this for ever but in the West we wont believe it till we see it. Now you can see it. How does Dr Joe Dispenza know? Because he measures it. Everything. He can provide all you sceptics with the scientific facts. How do you like them apples :) This turns healing on its head. We are the architect of our lives and our bodies which is our subconscious mind. With this excitement of our unlimited potential comes a responsibility. You are hanging out in a uber intelligent bundle of vibrating, stringed cells. You are communicating to the body and the World your innermost dreams and fears. Your cells respond to everything you say, think, feel, perceive and believe. No one else can drive this spaceship for you. Its up to you. No victims, only Masters. We need to take control, own our power and start paying attention to the things that truly matter. So what has this got to do with snowboarding? When we learn something new we fire the brain in different ways. We teach the body how to do the things we need it to do. Now I have been skiing then snowboarding for over 30 years, my body knows exactly what to do but this trip I recognised the power of my mind to try and stop me. To put me and keep me in fear. The ego justifying all the reasons for me not to go up the mountain. Bullshit reasons like a wee pain in my back, I have to write a blog, Im tired, I need to have recovery time. I saw and listened to it all and knew it was all lies and excuses. Another major thing was my level of fitness. 5 hours on a mountain everyday was too much for me. There I said it out loud. My body was screaming to rest, to stop, making excuses. I was last down the mountain and had to tell mycellf that is NOT what it is about. My ego was rearing its hilarious ugly head but now I know it. Combine that with draining my energy levels with fear chat and you can imagine how knackered I was at night. Never give up But I have a season pass, and I have a sister who is a machine and a shining example of just get on with it. So I ignored the mind best I could and persevered. Then this week the powder came, my legs were tired but I just kept going. Suddenly the fear went and the body remembered. I felt strong and confident to look over any “cornice” that my nephews were going to. Boy did it feel good. Anytime I did something new I realised I was teaching the body new tricks. Even did a few small jumps and I mean small. I was doing the Sedona Method on the burning in my thighs and actually started to get a buzz out of the feeling. I switched my perception. I took control, I said to the mind “Is that all you've got”? Oh how easy it would have been to stay in the nice warm house. Fitness of body and mind I have never really not been fit, well this kind of fit for years, its a good boot up the ass to use it and not lose it. I am already planning next winter here as this is just a lifestyle, its on the mountains, its everything that I love and its not like going to the gym. Its being in Nature, being on the Mountains, in the trees, pushing the boundaries in the most spectacular scenery in the World and most of all it is exhilarating. Its a way of life, that's all and I am blessed that I can come here and hang out for the Winter, what a privilege. Dr Joe Dispenza teaches us we are not the body. And when we focus on the body we become cellfish. Snowboarding brought my attention to every ache and pain that has been going on there. The numb toes, the stiff neck, the slight ache in knees and then the desire to bore everyone to death talking about it, as some do. I felt it all going up the Gondola, then it all disappeared in the rush of sliding fast down the mountain. What had changed? Nothing except my point of focus. I was out the body now, looking ahead, deciding on my moves, speed, direction. What a brilliant lesson for life this is. It has brought stuff up for releasing that I did not realise was there. A new mind My brain is firing and wiring in new ways, the ego is quietened for now, I feel stronger and fitter than I have for a long time. Im breaking the habit of being me. Of buying into others points of view. Of believing my body is aging instead of regenerating. Sure there is still a lot of shit in there for me to discover but today is a great day. I aint only going downhill, I am going up too :)
