Jersey - another fabulous Rock
I made a decision last year that I would spend more time with my family and friends all over the World. That I would fun this by running a seminar in these places where my friends live. I am incredibly lucky to be able to work from my lap top as this allows me to be in any Country I want and still earn my keep. Years ago I wrote down the goal to run Retreats in the most incredible places on the Planet. The Healing Power of Mother Earth is vastly missed and underated by Western medicine. The 5 elements almost completely ignored. My research and study has take me back to basics, how did we do it before we became the so called "developed" world. We have been looking for complicated solutions in laboratories all over the world, and they may be quite literally under our feet and noses. The Immersion Retreat, the very first of its kind, in Malta last year boasted powerful, lasting results for our clients. My clear intention is for every client to move from fear to love.....and stay there. To help create permanent, effortless change. To increase each clients vibration and mood allowing them to see that anything and everything is indeed possible. From healing the so called incurable, attracting endless abundance, to generating and experiencing love in a way you may only have previously dreamed of. As travel is my passion, I thought let me combine all of my needs with my mission, and let me have the best possible time on the journey. I arrived in Jersey last tuesday and the sun was shining bright, the sky was completely blue and my energy lifted as I walked off the plane. Ecstatic to see my cousin and niece we went straight to the surf beach, miles of sand and had some lunch. Wow my vibration went high with the vista in front of me. We then went along to look at possible venues for a Retreat in Jersey and I found the perfect place in the first half hour. On the beach, roof top terrace and huge deck, I could see it all clearly infront of me. My family had done a great job of marketing my skills and I had a few private clients in no time. We rented a perfect small space above St Heliers yacht club and held 2 seminars there. It fascinates me who turns up at the seminars. Curious people and some who maybe feel in need of help and change. The reception I got was amazing, the enthusiasm, the wamth and genuine interest, I was delighted. Walking barefoot on the beach is one of my favourite things in life and so is watching the sunset. This place is perfect for both. It is super green and actually reminded me of Maui with the lush tropical feel, although the icy wind reminded me we were still near the UK. What a place to Immerse your cells. We had a bit of a dinner party on the friday night, ended up with us all dancing, singing, playing mr and mrs (dont ask) what a craic. Then on sunday after the seminars we went to a bar to meet some friend and ended up in a massive sing song with another 50 or more people, what camaraderie, what a vibrational high that rounded off the week perfectly. ![]() When I decided to stay in Argyll for an extra few weeks in order to see my sister and nephews I thought I need to do something with my time. I am big into getting back to communities, supporting, helping and hanging out with other humans beings. This is massively important for our health. Feeling part of an extended family, knowing you have support through good times and bad and having the opportunity to help and give back. I am passionate about your health and happiness, not just in Argyll, but in Scotland and all over the planet. We just happen to have one of the worst health records here in my home Country and it can quite easily be changed. With education, direction and support from the government and each other. We were a proud nation of inventors and creators and I know we can return to that should we decide? I sent out a few messages on facebook and made a few calls. That's how it started. I made a decision about my thoughts then I took action. One of the talks at the weekend was my friend and creator of The Key Christine McGrory. She did a talk on one of her courses I wrote and helped create. The 8 Keys to Health and Wellbeing. The Key, the Mother Course teaches the Creation Process. How to create what you want in life. The Key to Health and Wellbeing turns the focus and attention to our health. But you can take The Key Creation process and turn it to anything you like. It's just a process that utilises a Law of Energetic response. You can use The Key to create more health, wealth or love. You choose. Christine used my example of creating the first health festival. I had the idea, I visualised it in my head, I took action and put my intention and attention at it, and I created the very first Argyll Health Festival. But you can use that process to create anything you want. First step is to decide. Decide 100% what you want, where you are going, what you are going to be doing, having and being. Health is much more than just diet and exercise. Health is about being happy on every level. On a cellular level. Your internal and external enviroment must be in harmony and aligbment. From a holistic view point your health is about your overall place in society. How you think, feel, believe, act and how you help, react and percieve yourcellf as part of the collective. The enviroment you live and work in, the people, products, toxins and energy around you. Your relationships with those around you. Your attitude and perception. Is it negative or positive. Your genes. Not because you are a victim of them but because you may have to take more action to change the expression of them. Yes what you eat massively affects your body/mind/soul, I am fairly sure everyone knows that even if they deny it because they don't want to believe it, and or change their ways. In The Key we talk about "awareness". Becoming aware. Because if you are not aware that things need to change then you will never even consider it. Becoming "aware" this is the first step to freedom. You may not make the changes immediately, but you will in time decide, put your focus and attention there and move into a place of knowing and believing. The same process I used to create the festival. The same process we use to get anything and everything we want in life. One of my main intentions for the weekend was to get the Community involved. To help people try things they have never tried before. To inspire people to take the first baby step to greater health. No matter where you are now, just add in a fresh juice or a herbalife shake and you will be one baby step closer to greater health and vitality. And to raise money for a place in Lochgilphead that provides love, comfort, support and community for those less fortunate. A place where my beloved aunt went before she died after a long illness called MS. How this centre helped and enhanced not just her life but the lives of her family and friends. It is way more fun to support and love each other along the way, instead of judging and criticising. We can prevent disease when we become "aware" we need and want to. We can create this together when we take the first step which is to DECIDE. This has to be fun. This has to be inspiring. This has to be a ground swell. If all of us become "aware". If all of us or even just some of us "decide" then take one baby step from this list and do it 3 days a week, then you are closer, you are participating, you are creating........greater health and happiness
That is all we need to do. One step at a time, take your power back, take responsibility. Understand how powerful you are and how unstoppable we are when we pull together. We can change our health picture. If we are aware we need to. If we decide we want to. If we put our focus, attention and intention there. Health, happiness, peace and love for all. Why? Because when we are ungrateful our cells contract, our thinking drops and we depress our immune system. Plus we are a pain in the arse. When you feel ungrateful, moaning about your lot, being a victim and believing things happen "to you" that you have in no way participated to get here, you give off a vibration that the Universe will send right back. This is the Law of Attraction. Can you see an agenda for staying grateful? Why be grateful? Because if you are not you will get back more of that negative energy. Hmmmm takes on a whole new slant eh? When negative energy comes into the body our thinking drops to match. Boom. Like lightening, in an instant. Thoughts are electrical and when we think we generate energy much like fork lightening that cracks into the body causing more energy there which is magnetic and beams out of us in a thing we call "emotions". What a system eh? And on top of all that the chemistry changes too. Adrenalin comes up, cortisol, all the stress, fight or flight hormones kick in because the body is thinking it is going to have to run away from something. It knows you are going into a state of alert, not because of your ungratefullness but because its an ancient response to help you run for your life. The body does not understand you are bumping your gums about bills, workmates, other people. It only recognises the electro magnetic response. RUN! Not only is this A very uncomfortable feeling if you do not run, this energy changes the thoughts. It changes your actions. it closes the front of the brain down so that you cannot think straight. Because it believes you don't need to think. All the blood is going to the hands and feet for flight. It is so genius, but so destructive nowadays. All of this intelligence going to destroying our own bodies. There is nothing to fear. You are abundant and lucky beyond belief. You have a house and hot water, friends and family and no one is shooting at you or bombing you.........let's hope it stays that way. What are you complaining about? Or are you just looking the wrong way? Are you focussing on the magnificence of the planet and your opportunities OR are you looking at the things you percieve as lack, as wrong, as bad? Most people in Argyll who know me understand where my passion for health came from. I lost my beloved aunt to cancer when I was 26, she was my rock, she stood by me and loved me unconditionally and that left a huge whole in my life. 6 years later my best friends daughter was diagnosed with leukaemia at 16 without doubt one of the worst shocks of my life. My aunt dying was awful but she was older. Someone younger dying, one of our children, no, that should never happen. It put me into a fear state for years and was the catalyst for my question.... "Why does your immune system let you down"? I have a strong spiritual faith and believe that some things are preagreed, soul contracts. This may or may not be true but it makes sense to me and is the only way to explain some of the horrific things that happen here that you cannot fathom. But that aside there are other reasons, some obvious and some less so. I became upset and concerned about the disease around me. I lost another precious aunt to MS. A friends dad committed suicide, that was agony and grief on another level. What is going on, where are we going wrong and more importantly ...... "What is the solution"? Now we understand that we participate in our health picture, we can change and improve our health and we can influence genetic expression, it is an exciting liberating time to be on this planet. What we eat, think, feel, do and believe are all factors. Where we live. Are we in pleasant living conditions. What levels of toxicity do we have in our homes via hard and soft furnishings and products and the invisible electrics and wifi. Our relationships. Are they loving and harmonious? Especially with our close circle and primarily with ourcellves. Living our purpose and feeling part of something bigger, this impacts too. I break it into 3 categories. 1. Get back to Nature. work with the planet and the 5 elements. 2. Release all outdated programming and beliefs. Our subconscious mind records everything and these frequencies are held in the cells, they depress your immune system. 3. Eat, think, feel and believe things that align you with Mother Earth. Stay in a healing frequency, Love. There are 2 vibrations to act from. a. Love - expands the cells b. Fear - contracts the cells Fear debilitates and destroys the body. Fear depresses our immune systeam and spoils our health and happiness. Through fear we only see problems. Fear sends out a vibration that can be measured up to 12 metres and infects and affects all others around us. Love helps us to see the solution best for all. Love heals. Through Love we expand and enjoy life and send out a frequency that can be measured for 12 metres. And that's all we can measure, where does a ripple end? We can change our health picture as a culture and a Nation. We can move away from fear and into love. It's a choice. And we no longer have an option. Look around you....see what is happening to our loved ones. We were a proud nation of inventors We have all the super foods available right here on our land and in our rivers and seas. Berries, vegetables, trout, salmon, herring, mackerel, shellfish, cod, white fish the list goes on. I wrote down these goal years ago. I want to help improve Scotlands health picture. I want to help raise the vibration of the planet. - The higher our vibration the happier we are. Because I have been home for a while to hang out with my family I wanted to do things that were worthwhile and would keep me interested. I have always had close connections with the MS Centre so I thought let me run a day event there. We can help raise awareness for all the great stuff they do plus have some fun (great for the immune system) let people try and learn new things, inspire and give them practical ideas and that was how the Health festival idea was born. When you get to my age you have a considerable network. This is a massive advantage when running something like this. I spoke to a few of my friends from here and further afield and they all loved the idea. So it grew a bit, then a bit more. The time is right. We are going to run talks in the MS Centre, exercise ideas in the Argyll Hotel and have therapists offering a variety of services down in Casa Argyll. Please come out and support at least one event. We need to regain our strong sense of Community. We are all in this together, and united we are not only much stronger, we are unstoppable. If not for yourself then do this for your kids and your grandkids. Indigenous cultures look 6 generations down. How will it be for our childrens, childrens, children if we do not take action now? Pan back and see the bigger picture, the disease around us. Make a choice today. Let change it. Lets be a proud, healthy, happy nation again. Someone told me yesterday to have a nice Easter and I said that I kept forgetting it was Easter.
She said well you have been banging on about Lent for weeks now. Hahahaha. I did not really know what Lent was, I understood about the fasting and the science for doing it at this time, but I was only using it as a time frame. It's good to have a time frame when you have a concise plan in mind. So what did I learn? I relieved all of my symptoms. Bloating gone, aches and pains mainly gone, not 100% but much better. Significant weight loss and much higher energy. I am enjoying the weight loss although that is not why I did it. Possibly I would never have stuck to it if that had been my only driver. My driver is and was dis ease prevention. I was in a precarious, post menopausal place. Here are the conflicts. Dont eat meat. Which would take you to bean and pulses. Dont eat foods high in sulphur, which most beans and pulses are. Dont eat the nighshade family. Thats all tomatoes, peppers, aubergines and chillies out. Dont eat fish, they are contaminated. Eat only organic. Not always possible here or in a lot of places. Eat right for your types, that cuts out all wheat and dairy for me. Alkalise your diet that takes out all animal products too and puts you back to veg. Avoid raw cruciferous veg if you have thyroid issues, thats broccoli, sprouts and cauliflower. Dont eat too much fruit because of the sugar. Dont eat dried fruit thats been treated in chemicals. Dont eat carrots they are high in sugar. Eat turmeric, dont eat turmeric. Coconut oil is the miracle cure, never eat coconut oil. So you can see, what is a normal person to do with all of that? Nutrition is not an exact science. We have different needs at different times and there are other critical factors that must be taken into account. But your body knows. All the intelligence is in there. Fast, simple way to find out. As far as food goes I have 1 rule. Eat the food that Mother Nature provided without any alterations by man. That's it. After that it is all about balance. Eat what is grown around you whenever possible. Eat raw as much as possible, organic preferably. Eat what is in season. Chew mindfully and with appreciation and love as in this state the digestive system works best. There are many ways to heal. Make a decision based on which approach "feels" right to you. Same with weight loss, choose a path you like the look of. With the decision made, you are on your way. Keep your eye on your goal. If you need me to help then I am at hand. Release old habits, limiting beliefs, cravings and blocks. I am I am open to I allow mycellf I am in the process ![]() End of Lent - Can I eat meat and be spiritual? So Lent comes to a close. What will I eat now? What will I drink now. Just had my last raw meal of raw week. I loved it and found it easy, but the cold really affects me and eating cold food when it's snowing is not something I will do again unless I have to. I like soup, casseroles, stews, the kind of food that warms you up and fills you up. I was never hungry on raw. It takes ages to eat your meal and even in the morning I did not feel hungry or any desire for coffee. Now I can have a coffee if I want, no desire yet. I am looking forward to salmon and my fave meat which is lamb. I hate animal cruelty or any kind of cruelty for that matter but I do still enjoy meat. The only reason I cut it right back is because of over farming and cruelty, not because I do not enjoy it. I always endeavour to buy organic, ethically raised products but sometimes you just don't know. Everyone asks me if I am a vegetarian. I was for years and that was one of the reasons I ended up with chronic fatigue as I was having too much carbohydrate. I am blood group o and when I eat right for my type or follow the paleo cutting out all wheat, sugar and dairy, this seems to work best for me. My grandfather was a butcher and so is my cousin, that is how I was brought up with good quality meat everyday. Nice cuts of meat, appreciation for animals, I never gave it much thought. Now I do. Can you eat meat and still be spiritual or are you putting your needs before that of the animals? Back in the day before shops and supermarkets we would eat plants, vegetables and fruits mainly with some meat on the day of the kill or find. I am figure it is ok to eat meat, its is just how it got to your plate that could be the issue on a level of Karma and vibration. I can see that I do not need to eat meat, but I like to and I enjoy it and it seems to satisfy me. Or is that just a learned behaviour with inherited tendencies? Most people that heal naturally use a plant based protein diet but now we are seeing people healing on the paleo diet. It seems it's more about the lack of processing that is important. I know all the hype about meat is not true, but it's clear animals that have been fed the wrong foods, filled with pharmaceutical drugs and terrified most of their lives will not be great to eat. Then we put them in our mouths, usually overcooked or soaked in more chemicals, then we don't chew properly and we wonder why it does not come out the other side. Does eating meat make me a bad person? There is a lot of judgement around eating nowadays. I am a raw foodist. I am a vegan. I am a vegetarian and so on. I have avoided the labels so far as often it is the ego talking and you can hear it. When you stand in judgement of others you should be sure you are loving your neighbour. As Carolyn Myss said, there is nothing worse than a vengeful vegetarian. There is a bit of "I am much much kinder and spiritual the yeow" as Harry Enfield would have said. It has always made sense to me that anything on this planet that has not been interfered with by man is probably ok to eat as long as we do what all other animals do and just take what we need today and leave the rest, and add in a little gratitude and appreciation. The one thing that I was reminded of during Lent is the confusion. So many conflicting points of views, so many different ways to do the same job, which is the right one for me? I got my hair tested back in the day and they sent me a sheet telling me not to eat anything except tomatoes basically, slight exaggeration but you know what I mean. I gave up after 2 days, it was far too far away from what I normally do. You must find a way to make it work for you. You must find a plan that you can adjust to without adding extra stress. You must find a way that is crystal clear so that you do not go off the path. Fasting is easy especially water. The only thing is you need to let go of all wanting to eat and all belief that you are going to starve, but there is no confusion about what to eat. Raw is easy, if its not raw don't eat it. Other plans can be more confusing if you do not know exactly what is on it and that can lay the way for cheating. You have to be 100% clear on what is allowed in and what is not. My diet has been very clean for years but the problem with candida is that even so called healthy foods may feed the fungus when you have it. This is where I am at now. The next 6 weeks are all about healing the gut 100%. My friend arrives in 2 weeks with her vega food intolerance machine so she can help me shortcut this by telling me exactly what is going on in there quickly. Until then I am off sugar and simple carbs and on vit c, probiotics, omega 3 and drinking baking soda. Maybe Earth Angels do not eat meat? I am healing. I am vibrant and full of youthful energy. |
